Five airlines open applications for 300 vacancies
Dubai: Five airlines in the United Arab Emirates opened applications on Saturday to fill 300 vacancies for their domestic and international operations.
Airlines such as Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai, Air Arabia and Wizz Air Abu Dhabi are currently recruiting for full-time jobs in various roles. There are over 100 vacancies in the Emirates based in Dubai, hiring cabin crew, contact center agents, sales agents, engineers, technical staff, airport service agents and maintenance technicians superiors, among other roles.
The airline subsidiaries dnata, Emirates Holidays, Emirates SkyCargo and Arabian Adventures have the following vacancies including Senior Administrator, Travel Consultant, Senior Manager and Chief Architect, Cargo Handling Supervisor, Technical Manager, Senior Manager freight sales and public relations specialist.
Apart from Dubai, these positions are also open in Auckland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Karachi, Addis Ababa, Munich, Mauritius, London, Colombo, Muscat, New York, Chicago, Poland and Budapest, to name a few international locations. Most airlines are expected to continue hiring throughout the year as the aviation sector recovers from the pandemic.
flydubai recently announced a 25% year-to-date increase in its workforce.
Similarly, Etihad Airways has listed over 100 jobs on its career portal, including cabin crew, food safety audit manager, network development manager, airside safety manager, routes, forklift operator, warranty and repair manager, butcher, baker, cook, company responsible for communication among others, Khaleej Times reported.
Cabin crew jobs are available in various international locations including Australia, Germany, Oman, Istanbul, Netherlands, Greece, Spain, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Japan, Malaysia and In other countries. However, cabin crew will be based in Abu Dhabi.
Flydubai is recruiting for more than a dozen vacancies including Senior IT Developer, Flight Operations Manager, Legal Affairs Specialist, Senior Schedule Planning Officers, Fleet and Network Planning Specialist, Senior Operations Coordinator airlines, computer network engineer.
