GWC Marine Services receives 3 ISO certifications

Doha: GWC Marine has received three ISO certifications – ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001:2018 Safety Management System. occupational health and safety.

GWC Marine is a leading shipping agency in Qatar representing international shipping lines (containers), RO-RO, tankers, break-bulks and bulk carriers in all seaports in Qatar.

The company is delighted to have obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification, an internationally recognized standard that ensures that its products and services meet customer needs through an effective quality management system. This certification reaffirms the company’s ability to consistently provide quality products and services that meet customer requirements and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

ISO 14001:2015 certification is recognition of its commitment to continuously evolve its environmental management system, while ISO 45001:2018 examines occupational safety and health measures.

The ISO 14000 environmental management standard requires companies to actively manage their environmental responsibilities. By identifying opportunities and risks, companies should strive to improve their resource efficiency, reduce waste, and closely measure and manage the overall environmental impact of business decisions.

ISO 45001:2018 is a globally recognized occupational health and safety standard to help organizations improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create safer working conditions. Obtaining ISO 45001:2018 certification demonstrates GWC Marine’s commitment to its employees, community and customers, and to continually improving and evaluating its working environment.
