In a bid to increase staff efficiency, Sifax Group has trained a total of 101 employees in different areas from various subsidiaries of the organization during the first quarter of 2022.

The training focused on basic staff needs including leadership skills, operations management, terminal traffic management, health, safety and environment, security, digital marketing and corporate governance.

In a statement in Lagos, Sifax Group Corporate Communications Group Head Muyiwa Akande explained that some traffic managers from Ports and Cargo Handling Services, a subsidiary of SIFAX Group, have been trained in traffic management. terminal.

According to him, the week-long training aimed to provide participants with practical skills that would enable them to effectively and efficiently coordinate the movement of people, vehicles and equipment through the terminal.

“Operations staff from the same subsidiary have been trained in current terminal operational skills, as well as understanding the importance of robust standards, processes and procedures and analyzing the various elements of terminal operations. container terminal, especially to understand the complete operational cycle of the vessel, yard and gate activities.
