Rezaei made the remarks with reference to the new plan of the Ministry of Transport and Urban Development for the development of a roadmap for improving the quality of the maritime transport fleet and ports in the north and south of the country.

Rezaei said having smart ships is another issue that the country’s shipping industry will need in the very near future, adding that clearing the backlog in the shipbuilding industry will not will not be easily compensated and that one of the solutions to do so is to use new technologies, including intelligent commercial shipbuilding technology.
