Dubai’s Dnata and GJT Form Alliance to Offer Line Maintenance Services
Dubai-based air service provider dnata has partnered with aircraft maintenance company Global Jet Technic (GJT) to offer online maintenance support to carriers in Dubai.
As part of this partnership, dnata will promote GJT’s services to provide one-stop-shop ground handling, freight and technical services to its 150 customers at Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) airports. .
GJT, which has been approved by the United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), currently operates line maintenance stations at DXB and Sharjah Airport (SHJ) in the United Arab Emirates.
The aircraft maintenance company also plans to begin operations at DWC in the coming years.

Currently, dnata manages ground handling and freight operations at two airports, DXB and DWC, in the region.
dnata has handled over 77,000 flights and transported 570,000 tonnes of cargo across the country in the past year.
Last week, dnata signed a lease with Sydney Airport (SYD) to expand its current cargo handling facility.
The facility will be extended by an additional 4,800 mÂ² under the five-year lease, bringing the site to 16,300 mÂ².
