Qatar Airways Cargo renews its ground handling contract with Havas
Havas, the ground handling company, will continue to provide ground handling services to Qatar Airways Cargo for freight and warehouse services for another five years.
Offering full-fledged groundhandling services to more than 200 airlines in its portfolio to international standards, Havas has signed an agreement with Qatar Airways Cargo to extend the long-term groundhandling partnership until the end. from 2025. Under the renewed agreement, Havas will continue to provide cargo and warehouse services at Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Antalya airports to Qatar Airways Cargo; as well as cargo services to Adana airport.
By undertaking the import and export cargo handling process of Qatar Airways Cargo, Havas will also continue to provide bonded freight service between its warehouses to Qatar Airways Cargo with its refrigerated trucks designed to carry perishable cargo.

For two years, we have been using refrigerated trucks designed for our warehouse equipment fleet to transport special goods such as medicine, food, etc. in Turkey. Havas is the first ground handling company in Turkey to use refrigerated trucks. In addition, we have doubled the size of our warehouse at Istanbul Airport with an investment of around 11 million euros, while also investing in several brand new technologies and equipment in our warehouses at Ankara airports, Izmir and Antalya, covering a total area of 20,457 squares. meters; and lead by example in the sector. We will continue to increase the efficiency of our operations and adopt innovations to contribute to the success of all of our business partners. “
Havas handles the handling of general cargo as well as special cargo, including perishable cargo, live animals, cargo containing dangerous goods and radioactive materials, etc. in its warehouses at Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Antalya airports.
