Echendu Ndubuisi

Today we would like to introduce you to Echendu Ndubuisi.

It is an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about yourself and your story?

Hello! Thanks for the invitation! I am Echendu Ndubuisi Anthony Humphrey, known as Engr Echendu, from Rivers State in Port Harcourt and have lived most of my life as an oil and gas merchant and chemical engineer.

It was indeed a wonderful experience as every day I am faced with various situations that require me to go the extra mile before making a decision and of course tasting success in the end. But it was only recently that I turned to other companies interested in public procurement, mega malls, construction, energy, water cargo handling, travel. and tourism and hospitality and that I have been stuck in trading on the stock exchange for some time now.

Overall, this experience has made me a different being than I was a few years ago. However, I still believe in the saying “once a student, always a student” and this phrase, in particular, reflects the work I do on a daily basis. Genesis Engineering was right next to me at all times, however, my work immersed me in various forms of knowledge. This incidentally led me from one thing to another and I landed in chemical engineering through the flame of the oil and gas merchant aspect of engineering could not be refused; thus, I am who I am, a person, a soul in search of knowledge.

Tell us about the trip so far?

My journey seems to be endless as I discover new things that allow me to move into unfamiliar areas and come up with unconventional (but successful) thoughts letting me add feathers to the beanie or unforgettable experiences added to lessons in unforgettable lives. . It is of course a relaunched trip where I tend to be reborn for the challenges ahead. By chance, being outspoken in addition to being an active student at university made me realize the potential that awaited me. They also got me thinking about what I could only do if my talent was used appropriately.

Did your study help improve any skills?

Studying at one of the best colleges in the UK has helped me hone my skills and instill in me the sense of discipline and the capacity for self-resilience to see the team I work with and me. – even as a director.

Overall, my experience, the lessons I was able to learn along the way made me stronger over the days. After graduation I started working like any other guy my age, but things weren’t as I thought they should be. These thoughts kept me awake for many hours, making me think deeply about what was in life that I had not yet accomplished.

Tell us about your initial difficulties as an entrepreneur and how did you create Echendu Group of Companies Ltd?

With a lot of courage on the part of the supporters, a good knowledge of the subject and the ability to change gears, I finally decided to turn the tide before it was too late. Standing where two roads diverged, the mind in a dilemma still a hope of being among the stars created the ground on which I was supposedly going to build a small but amazing business. It is a company that makes sure that the dreams of not only mine, but people (my colleagues) come true.

Although my business has had some rough times, it continues to emerge as a diamond that goes through many cuts before it becomes one of those rare things to shine forever.

Echendu Group of Companies Ltd. – My dream, my business, my second family.

What is the vision of Echendu Group?

Oh! I could very well say that this is my first family! Yes this is my dream – My Echendu business group built after the efforts of a team of people who believe in a vision and me to stand through the thickness and the end. I would always be grateful to all the wonderful souls associated with my family. On the other hand, at ECG we believe in making the most of the things that are given to us raw or half cooked. This is the best part of the story because it’s those brainstorming sessions that we all look forward to at Echendu Group. The reason behind such a statement is that we are working a lot on our talent and definitely emerge as a winner.

Let’s talk about the work you do at Echendu Group. What do you specialize in?

At Echendu Group, we are a family with branches spread across many sectors of oil and gas, energy, mega malls, commercial purchasing and many other services such as cargo handling, construction , travel and tourism, warehousing and hospitality, and our charity Le Echendu Unify, etc.

Who would you most like to thank?

My family, my blessing! Spreading my wings so far would not have been possible without the constant support of my precious family. My parents have proven time and time again that they are with me at all times of my life and the same is true of my aunt and my wonderful daughter whom I am proud of. I just can never stop talking about my family, no matter where they are, because that’s what I’m here for today. I would always be grateful for their support, words of encouragement and blessings given to me.

Special thanks to University of London UCL where I graduated in Chemical Engineering and Harvard University, I say thank you for training me in Foundation Leadership and finally the Metropolitan School of Business for the knowledge that impacted me on data science.

To my business family, the Global Chamber of Business Leaders, thank you!
